CURRENTLY IN SESSION (9/8/18 – 10/20/18):
Have you ever seen someone miss out on a blessing because they couldn’t get over a past hurt?
That was me, and then I started sharing my deepest darkest hurts and embarassments on social media and this blog.
Through this experience, I’ve learned to let go of grudges that I was holdng onto for years and to forgive myself of some of what were my biggest regrets in life.
Now I am helping others to do the same. In January, I started a Processing Pain journaling group.
I got a small group of women together and we wrote about our most painful experiences, using a series of questions to guide us.
We shared our experiences. We laughed. We cried. We said, “That happened to me too!” We encouraged each other. We prayed for each other. We uplifted each other throughout the week. And each week, we became freer.
Each week we became more available to recognize and receive all of the amazing things that life has to offer us.
